Ellen Allien released New Life on BPitch on 9 July 2026. The label presents it as an album about freedom, community and transformation, recorded between Berlin, Miami and Ibiza and available on vinyl, as a download and on streaming services.

Community as a subject, not a slogan

The official album text connects the music to chosen families, unconventional forms of care, autonomy and collective agency. Rather than using those ideas as a campaign apart from the music, New Life makes them central to the project's identity.

That framing matters to club culture. The dancefloor is often celebrated as a space of freedom, but it depends on labor, shared rules and networks of support. The album brings that human infrastructure back into the conversation without reducing the experience to an abstract manifesto.

Artist and label in one ecosystem

Allien also runs BPitch, bringing creation, curation and distribution close together. The album page brings the music and purchase options into one place; the label's news documents the singles, video and physical edition. Those primary sources offer more than a press release repeated across outlets.

For NIGHT ISSUE, the story lies where sound meets structure: a techno album that addresses community while circulating through an editorial platform the artist has built over decades.
