Agazero released Dissidente on 31 July 2026. Its official Bandcamp page lists six tracks and contributions from KARAN!, Yandrel, Iguana and Sexcorp, placing the project within a network of Brazilian experimental electronic artists.

Collaboration as a language

The release credits resist a reading centered on one artist. Four guests appear across the EP, bringing different voices and approaches to a concise sequence. Dissidente is both an authored work and a meeting point for a scene.

Pitchfork's review reads the release through São Paulo nightlife and its smaller venues, connecting breakbeats, noise and strands of club music. That is an outside interpretation; the track listing, credits and release date cited here come from the official release.

A Brazilian story on its own terms

Dissidente does not need to present São Paulo as a novelty for foreign audiences to be worth covering. The story lies in local production, named collaborators and the independence of a release available directly from the artist.

The photograph accompanying this story is a CC0-licensed urban context image. It does not depict Agazero or anyone involved in the EP. We make that distinction explicit to avoid a misleading visual association.
